Bentotrack

A time tracker small enough to live on your keychain, so it’s with you whenever work starts and stops.

The device

A handheld built around an ESP32, featuring buttons, touchscreen, speakers and vibrator. Small enough to fit in your pocket - clock in, clock out and log your breaks wherever you are, building statistics for yourself and your work-life-balance.

The dock

A docking station is planned, connecting via the 5-pin pogo connector on the Bentotrack. It will allow charging the device, syncing with a planned web service and automatically trigger clock in/out events when it's docked or removed.

Why it exists

Bentotrack compares your working time with your break time, so overtime doesn’t quietly pile up. It started as a tool to stop its maker from working too much. It's meant both as a motivator to 'get number up' while also reminding you to stop working, take a break or *really* stop working when you hit legal limits.

Status

In development. The circuit boards are designed and fabricated in-house for active prototype testing.
